Reni Masi is a former high school principal. He also served as chair of both the Surrey School District Assessment and Evaluation Committee and the District Annual Report Committee in 1990 and 1991. He was also the zone representative for the B.C. Principals and Vice-Principals Association and president of the Surrey Administrators Association.

Mr. Masi is also past-president of the B.C. Liberal Party.

He has also been involved in many community organizations including the Surrey Rehabilitation Society, Surrey/Delta Immigration Services, Scott Road Business Association and the Delta Chamber of Commerce.

Reni and Susan Masi have three adult children.
