Rick Thorpe worked in the Canadian brewing industry for 22 years in a variety of senior management positions in Canada and internationally. He was involved in the development of the B.C. grape and wine industry. He was also a partner in an Okanagan winery for five years.

Mr. Thorpe is a Certified Management Accountant.

He has served in his many communities as a volunteer and board member of a variety of community organizations.

Rick and Yasmin Thorpe have three children and two granddaughters.
