FOI COMMITTEE PUBLIC HEARINGS CANCELLED IN KELOWNA AND PRINCE GEORGE
VICTORIA – The all-party Special Committee to Review the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act originally planned to meet in Kelowna and Prince George on January 22. However, it has made the decision to cancel these events as they were no longer cost-effective, due to low witness registration.
The committee encourages written submissions from the public by letter, fax, and e-mail. A new online consultation questionnaire is also available on the committee's website at http://www.leg.bc.ca/cmt All submissions should be received by February 27, 2004 .
