THURSDAY, MARCH 13, 2008
The committee met at 8:11 a.m.
[R. Cantelon in the chair.]
R. Cantelon (Chair): I'd like to call this meeting to order, the Special Committee to Review the PIPA Act.
So here we go.
J. Rustad: A motion to go in camera.
Motion approved.
The committee continued in camera from 8:11 a.m. to 9:55 a.m.
[R. Cantelon in the chair.]
R. Cantelon (Chair): We have to get the next meeting date. We have to report out by the 19th. So we've got to wrap this up the week we get back — no doubt about that. Kate will get on it and get us a date when we can do this when we get back. In the meantime, I know that you'll take this home with you and read it.
M. Polak: And be prepared.
R. Cantelon (Chair): And be prepared. It's gone well, I'd say. We've had a very good discussion here this morning, and I appreciate — including you, John, and in fact, and especially including you — your constructive comments on all these matters.
L. Krog: And Mr. Chair, if I may thank our researcher for her excellent work and keeping us on track.
R. Cantelon (Chair): We stand adjourned.
The committee adjourned at 9:56 a.m.
