Privacy Policy

• A submission requires your name and contact information. 
• Your name and contact information will be entered into our secure database by committee staff employed by the Legislative Assembly. 
• Your contact information will not be disclosed to external agencies, institutions, MLAs or other individuals.
• Only your name will appear in the witness list at the end of the report, which will be posted on the Committee’s website.
• If you appear before the Committee at any of its public meetings, a transcript of your oral presentation will be produced and made publicly available on the Committee’s website.  This means your name and evidence will be publicly accessible to anyone searching  the Internet.
• All submissions received as part of the public consultations will be posted on the Committee’s website,  except where confidentiality is explicitly requested.  If you do not want your submission posted, the onus is on you to notify us.
• Once the Committee releases its report, a confidential submission will be considered a public document that can be made available upon request to interested parties, with appropriate safeguards to protect your personal privacy.
