Group Tour Information

Hours of Operation

Fall, Winter, and Spring (September 6, 2011 - May 14, 2012)

Monday to Friday:

9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Summer (May 14, 2012 - September 3, 2012)

Monday to Sunday:

9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

On weekends and holidays visitors must join a free public tour or reserve a group tour in order to enter the Parliament Buildings.

Cost:

All tours are free of charge.

Languages:

Tours are offered in English and French throughout the year.  

Other languages may be possible depending on the availability of staff.  Please contact the Tour Office for more information at tours@leg.bc.ca.

A small number of self-guided tour books are available in a variety of languages to borrow from the Legislative Tour Office.

Tour Length:

Tours last approximately 30 – 45 minutes.

If you would like a shorter tour or have any other special requests, we would be happy to adapt the tour to suit the needs of your group.

Group Size:

Guided tours are offered to groups of 15 to 50 people. We request that tour operators with more than 50 visitors book additional tours.

Individuals or groups of 14 or less do not need to make a reservation and can join one of our regularly scheduled free public tours.

Visitor Information:

The Legislative Assembly is a working building. Please ask the members of your group to talk quietly while inside the Parliament Buildings.

Food and drinks are not permitted inside of the Legislative Assembly. However, there is a Legislative Dining Room where visitors can enjoy a meal.

Parking:

There is no public parking available on the property. Street parking and pay-parking lots are located nearby. For more information, please visit our Visitor Parking page.

Access for Persons with Disabilities:

The Parliament Buildings are wheelchair accessible from the East-side entrance. Please ask a tour guide or security staff for assistance upon arrival.
