Tour Office Schedule

Hours of Operation:

January 1, 2010 - May 14, 2010

During the Fall, Winter, and Spring, the Legislative Tour Office offers free guided tours of the Parliament Buildings from Monday to Friday of each week. The Parliament Buildings are closed on weekends and statutory holidays.

Guided tours are offered regularly throughout the day. The number of public tours offered may vary, depending on the number of spaces booked by school and group tours.

A guaranteed public tour is offered daily at 4:00 pm.

May 17, 2010 - September 6, 2010

During the busy Summer, the Legislative Tour Office offers free guided tours of the Parliament Buildings 7 days a week, including statutory holidays.

Monday to Thursday:	tours offered between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Friday to Sunday:	tours offered between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Guided tours depart several times per hour. The number of public tours offered varies day to day, depending on the number of spaces booked by school and group tours.

Please note that on weekends, evenings, and holidays visitors must join a free guided tour in order to enter the Parliament Buildings. Please ask a Tour Guide for a free ticket to the next available public tour upon your arrival at the front of the building.

Cost:

All guided tours are offered FREE of charge.

Tour Length:

Tour length varies between 30 and 60 minutes depending on parliamentary activity.

Group Bookings:

Groups of ten or more must book a tour in advance.

Tours can be requested online or by calling the Legislative Tour Office at 250-387-3046 or toll free within BC at 1-800-663-7867.

Language Tours:

Tours are available in a variety of languages depending on the availability of staff. Please contact the Legislative Tour Office for more information on booking a language tour.

In July and August, there will be a guided tour offered daily in French at 3:00 pm.

Une visite guidée quotidienne sera offerte en français à 15h pendant les mois de juillet et août.

Special Needs:

All facilities are wheelchair accessible. Please proceed to the East Annex entrance for an electronic lift.

Our times, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice and tours may be cancelled at any time by the Tour Office due to Legislative Assembly events.
