NEW DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

Gregor Robertson was elected as the MLA for Vancouver Fairview on May 17, 2005.

Gregor serves as Opposition Critic for Small Business, Revenue and Deregulation.

Gregor brings a broad range of experience and a fresh perspective to BC politics.

He's a father of three, successful businessperson, dedicated to serving his community, and passionate about building a sustainable and prosperous future for BC.

Gregor co-founded Happy Planet Juice in 1994, and grew the Vancouver-based socially responsible company up to 50 employees in 10 years. Happy Planet received the Ethics in Action Award in 2004, and was awarded the Vancouver Mayor's Environmental Award for exemplary achievement in 2003.

Raised in Vancouver, Gregor earned a Bachelor's degree in English and Biology. He and his wife Amy have traveled extensively and ran an organic farm in the Fraser Valley for seven years.

In 1998, Gregor was recognized as one of Business in Vancouver's "Top 40 Under 40". Last year, Gregor was named to “ Canada's Top 40 under 40" brightest achievers in The Globe and Mail, one of the most prestigious awards in the country.

Gregor and Amy have three children: Terra, Satchel, and Johanna. He is an ardent bike commuter, and in his spare moments plays soccer, explores the great outdoors, and gets musical.
