Group Tour Information

Proof of Vaccination:

All Members of the Legislative Assembly, staff, and visitors (aged 12+) to the Parliament Buildings are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a piece of ID prior to entry. This initiative is expected to end on Thursday, June 30, 2022, but may be subject to further extension by the Legislative Assembly Management Committee. Additional information on the Legislative Assembly's COVID-19 initiatives is available here.

Cost 

All tours are free of charge. ​​​

Availability

Tours are offered between 9:30 am and 4:00 pm PST, Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends and holidays.

Group Size

Guided tours are offered to groups of up to 40 people. We request that groups with more than 40 visitors book multiple tours.

Individuals or groups of 14 or less do not need to make a reservation and can join one of our regularly scheduled free public tours. 

Length of Visit

Tours last approximately 45 minutes. If you would like a shorter tour or have any other special requests, we would be happy to adapt the tour to suit the needs of your group.

Languages

Tours are offered in English and French throughout the year. Other languages may be possible depending on the availability of staff. Please contact us for more information tours@leg.bc.ca​.

Observing Debates

If your group would like to observe debates at the end of your guided tour, be sure to book using the form titled 'Group Tour with Gallery.' The calendar in the booking form will display dates when the Legislative Assembly is meeting.

Additional Information

There is no public parking on the property, but there are many options nearby. Please visit our Visitor Parking page for information.

If you are coming on a day that the Legislative Assembly is meeting, please be aware that rooms that are normally included on guided tours may be closed for government events and activities. 

Tour times, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice and tours may be cancelled at any time due to events or operational requirements.

How to Book

  1. Click on the 'Book Now' button above.
  2. When the new page opens, click on the 'Tour' (tour only), or the 'Tour with Gallery' button (to observe debates at the conclusion ofhe tour).                  Tour1a.JPG
  3. Click on the blue 'Book Now' button for either 'Group Tour' or 'Group Tour with Gallery.'Tour 3.JPG
  4. Complete the booking form.
  5. You will be receive a tentative booking email once your request has been submitted. 
  6. You will receive a tour confirmation email once your request has been approved.

The calendar on the booking form will only display tour times that are still available on the day you wish to visit. 

The 'Group Tour with Gallery' calendar will only display available tours on days that the Legislative Assembly is meeting.
