Group Tour Information

COVID-19 Update

All Members of the Legislative Assembly, staff, and visitors to the Parliament Buildings, born in 2009 or earlier (12+), are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a piece of ID prior to entry. All visitors (5+) must wear a mask inside the Parliament Buildings.  The program will be re-evaluated regularly and may be subject to extension by the Legislative Assembly Management Committee. Service Notice:

  • Due to the recent increase of COVID-19 cases in the province, guided tours of the Parliament Buildings are not currently being offered and booking requests are not being accepted for dates in January.
  • This page will be updated with tour information as soon as in-person tours resume. 

Cost 

All tours are free of charge. ​​​

Availability

Tours are offered between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm PST, Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends and holidays.

Group Size

Guided tours are offered to groups of up to 25 people. We request that groups with more than 25 visitors book multiple tours.

Individuals or groups of 14 or less do not need to make a reservation and can join one of our regularly scheduled free public tours. 

Length of Visit

Tours last approximately 45 minutes. If you would like a shorter tour or have any other special requests, we would be happy to adapt the tour to suit the needs of your group.

Languages

Tours are offered in English and French throughout the year. Other languages may be possible depending on the availability of staff. Please contact us for more information tours@leg.bc.ca​.

Observing Debates

If your group would like to observe debates at the end of your guided tour, be sure to book using the form titled 'Group Tour with Gallery' at the bottom of the page. The calendar in the booking form will display dates when the Legislative Assembly is meeting.

General Information

Food and drinks are not permitted inside of the Parliament Buildings, but groups are welcome to make a reservation in the Parliamentary Dining Room​.

The Tour Office is not able to store bags, backpacks, or strollers.

Parking

There is no public parking available on the property. Street parking and pay-parking lots are located nearby. For more information, please visit our Visitor Parking page.

Special Access Requirements

The Parliament Buildings are accessible for visitors in wheelchairs and those with limited mobility or young children in strollers. Please let us know if any visitors in your group require access via the accessible entrance when making your booking.
