Tour Information

​​​​​​​​Outdoor Tour Schedule (September - October 2, 2020): 

11:00 am and 2:00 pm (Weekdays)

*Outdoor public tours are cancelled on Thursday, September 24 due to rain.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​While the interior of the Parliament Buildings are closed to the public, we are pleased to offer​​ guided tours of the the Legislative Grounds. 

Outdoor tours are free and last approximately 45 minutes. We a​re closed on weekends and holidays.

Tours begin on the front driveway. If you are interested in joining a tour, please wait for your Guide outside of the Main Entrance at the designated time. ​​

School Tours and Programs

Online Learning Program (Fall 2020)

The new Virtual Classroom program provides students with an opportunity to learn about the Legislative Assembly in a fun and engaging way from the comfort of their home computers or classroom.​​

School Tours - Outdoor (Fall 2020)

School and community groups are invited to join us for free​ Outdoor Tours of the the Legislative Grounds.​

School Tours - Indoor (on hold until further notice)

Fun and informative guided tours of the Parliament Buildings for school groups and students of all ages.

Governance and Beyond (on hold until further notice)
The Governance and Beyond program is run in partnership with the Royal BC Museum and explores different forms of governance (Grades 3 - 7).

Little Legislators (on hold until further notice)

The Little Legislators program offers a guided tour and activites for younger learners (Grades K-3). ​

Self-Guided Tour Books

Interior Tour Books provide information on the history and splendour of the Parliament Buildings. Available in 15 languages.  

Exterior Tour Boo​ks focus on the Legislative precinct, which is home to numerous landmarks and many beautiful fountains, trees, and gardens. Available in English and French.

Online - Discover Your Legislature is an online resource designed to help all British Columbians learn more about the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
