Tour Information

Visiting the Parliament Buildings

Hours of Operation:

The Parliament Buildings are open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends and holidays.

Visitor Notices:

  • Due to the recent increase of COVID-19 cases in the province, guided tours of the Parliament Buildings are not currently being offered.

  • Visitors are welcome to take a self-guided tour when the Parliament Buildings are open. Self-guided tour books are available in a variety of languages at the Tour Desk by the Main Entrance.

  • All Members of the Legislative Assembly, staff, and visitors (aged 12+) to the Parliament Buildings, are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a piece of ID prior to entry. All visitors (aged 5+) must wear a mask inside the Parliament Buildings. The program will be re-evaluated regularly and may be subject to extension by the Legislative Assembly Management Committee. Self-Guided Tours

Visitors are welcome to take their own self- guided tour when the Parliament Buildings are open.

School Tours and Programs

School Tours (in-person)

Fun and informative School Tours of the Parliament Buildings for students of all ages. 

Virtual Classroom (Online)

The Virtual Classroom program provides students with an opportunity to learn about the Legislative Assembly in a fun and engaging way from the comfort of their home computers or classroom.​​

Virtual Speaker in the Schools (online)

The Speaker in the Schools program provides students with the opportunity to meet with the Honourable Raj Chouhan, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, to learn about his role and the work of the Legislative Assembly.

Little Legislators (on hold until further notice)

The Little Legislators program offers a guided tour and activites for younger learners (Grades K-3). ​
