Ten o'clock.a.m.

Prayers by Mr. Kasper.

The Hon. G. Clark (Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations) tabled the Auditor General's Special Report to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia on the 1990-91 Public Accounts.

By leave, on the motion of the Hon. G. Clark, it was Ordered that leave be given for the Special Committee of Selection to meet while the House is in session today.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the Address in Reply to the Speech of His Honour the Lieutenant Governor at the opening of the Session.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Farnworth, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 12.01 p.m.

The Hon. R. Blencoe (Minister of Municipal Affairs, Recreation and Housing) tabled the following:

The Annual Report of the Assessment Appeal Board of British Columbia for the 1991 Calendar Year.

The Annual Report of the British Columbia Assessment Authority for the 1990 fiscal year, in accordance with section 17 of the Assessment Authority Act.

The Hon. C. Gabelmann (Attorney General) tabled the following:

The Annual Report of the Motor Carrier Commission, year ended February 28, 1991, pursuant to section 34 of the Motor Carrier Act.

The British Columbia Police Commission Annual Report, 1990/91.

The Legal Services Society of British Columbia Annual Report, 1990-1991.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

By leave, on the motion of the Hon. G. Clark, it was Ordered that sittings of the House on Wednesday next be from the hour of 10 o'clock a.m. to the hour of 2 o'clock p.m.

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the Address in Reply to the Speech of His Honour the Lieutenant Governor at the opening of the Session.

The debate continued.

On the motion of the Hon. R. Blencoe, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 5.44 p.m.
