Two o'clock p.m.

Mr. Mitchell advised the House of the death of Mr. David M. Brousson, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly.

The Hon. T. Perry made a statement.

The Speaker stated that she would convey to the family of the late Mr. Brousson the condolences of Members of the Legislative Assembly.

The Hon. B. Barlee (Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food) presented to the Speaker a Message from His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:

The Lieutenant Governor transmits herewith Bill (No. 33) intituled Golf Course Development Moratorium Act and recommends the same to the Legislative Assembly.

The Hon. T. Perry (Minister of Advanced Education, Training and Technology) tabled the Annual Report of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology, 1990-1991.

The Hon. A. Hagen (Minister of Education and Minister Responsible for Multiculturalism and Human Rights) tabled the Annual Report of the Ministry of Education, July 1, 1990 to June 30, 1991.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

Upon a point of order being taken by Mr. Wilson, the Speaker ruled that when an answer to a question taken on notice is given in the House, there is no automatic right of reply available to another Member.

Mr. Wilson asked leave to make a statement.

Leave was not granted.

The Hon. E. Cull (Minister of Health and Minister Responsible for Seniors) made a ministerial statement relating to Mental Health Week.

Ms. Reid made a statement.

Mr. Fox made a statement.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

The Hon. C. Gabelmann advised that the House will sit on Wednesday, pursuant to Standing Order 2 (2).

60. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $392,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Transportation and Highways, Minister's Office, to 31st March 1993.

61. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $822,849,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Transportation and Highways, Ministry Operations, to 31st March 1993.
