The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Anderson, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 11.49 a.m.

The House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 32) intituled Resource Compensation Interim Measures Act.

The debate continued.

Ms. Tyabji moved the following amendment--
That the motion for second reading of Bill 32 -- The Resource Compensation Interim Measures Act be amended by deleting all the words after the word "that" and substituting therefore the following:

"Bill 32 not be read a second time now for the following reason:

Namely, that the Bill fails to provide compensation for those parties that are affected by the Bill."

The debate on the amendment continued.

On the motion of Mr. Fox, the debate on the amendment was adjourned until later today.

The Hon. C. Gabelmann moved--
That the House, at its rising, stand adjourned until six minutes past 6 o'clock p.m. and that upon reconvening to sit not later than 10 o'clock p.m. this evening.

55. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $363,700,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Recreation and Housing, Municipal Revenue Sharing, to 31st March 1993.

Section B of Committee of Supply reported the Resolution.
