The Hon. L. Boone (Minister of Government Services) made a ministerial statement relating to a preliminary report from the Registrar of Companies.

The Hon. J. Cashore moved--

That the House, at its rising, stand adjourned for five minutes and that upon reconvening to sit not later than 10 o'clock p.m. this evening.

The House proceeded to "Public Bills and Orders and Government Motions on Notice."

Bill (No. 18) intituled Energy Council Act was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed, on division.

The Chair further reported that in consideration of the motion that the Committee rise and report Bill (No. 18) complete without amendment, the Committee divided as follows:

Bill (No. 39) intituled Petroleum and Natural Gas Amendment Act, 1992 was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

Bill (No. 26) intituled Marriage Amendment Act, 1992 was read a second time.

By leave, Bill (No. 26) was committed, reported complete without amendment, and by leave read a third time and passed.

The House resumed the adjourned debate onthe motion for second reading of Bill (No. 29) intituled Waste Management Amendment Act, 1992.

The debate continued.

The House divided.

Motion agreed to on the following division:

Bill (No. 29) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

Bill (No. 24) intituled Water Amendment Act, 1992 was committed, reported complete with amendment, and by leave read a third time and passed.

Bill (No. 34) intituled Environment, Lands and Parks Statutes Amendment Act, 1992 was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

And then the House adjourned at 9.14 p.m.
