The Hon. A. Hagen (Minister of Education and Minister Responsible for Multiculturalism and Human Rights) presented to the Speaker a Message from His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:

The Lieutenant Governor transmits herewith Bill (No. 63) intituled Human Rights Amendment Act, 1992 and recommends the same to the Legislative Assembly.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

The Hon. G. Clark (Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations) tabled the Annual Report of the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations, April 1, 1990 to March 31, 1991.

The Hon. A. Charbonneau (Minister of Transportation and Highways) made a ministerial statement and tabled a Proclamation relating to "Transportation Week."

Mr. Symons made a statement.

Mr. Serwa made a statement.

Mr. Beattie presented a petition relating to the advisability of legislation to establish the office of a Rentals Mediator.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, the House resolved itself into Section A and Section B of Committee of Supply.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 12) intituled British Columbia Endowment Fund Act, a debate arose.

Bill (No. 35) intituled Taxation (Rural Area) Amendment Act, 1992 was committed, reported complete with amendment, and by leave read a third time and passed.

Bill (No. 42) intituled Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Statutes Amendment Act, 1992 was read a second time and by leave committed, reported complete without amendment, and by leave read a third time and passed.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 52) intituled Farming and Fishing Industries Development Amendment Act, 1992, a debate arose.

Bill (No. 52) read a second time.

By leave, Bill (No. 52) was committed, reported complete without amendment and by leave read a third time and passed.

By leave, Section A of Committee of Supply having reported the last vote of the Estimates of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on Thursday last, debate on those Estimates was summarized, pursuant to Sessional Order of March 26, 1992.

Bill (No. 46) intituled School Amendment Act, 1992 was read a second time and by leave committed, reported complete without amendment and by leave read a third time and passed.

And then the House adjourned at 9.20 p.m.
