On the motion of Mr. Hurd, Bill (No. M 203) intituled An Act to Protect Owners of Manufactured Homes, 1992, was introduced, read a first time, and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Pursuant to Sessional Order, the House resolved itself into Section B of Committee of Supply.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 83) intituled Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act (No. 2), 1992, a debate arose.

Bill (No. 83) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

Bill (No. 65) intituled Financial Institutions Statutes Amendment Act, 1992 was committed, reported complete with amendment, and by leave read a third time and passed.

And then the House adjourned at 12.52 p.m.

By leave, on the motion of Mr. Weisgerber, Bill (No. M 204) intituled National Anthem Appreciation Act was introduced, read a first time, and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

By leave, Mr. Hanson moved that Mr. De Jong be substituted for Mr. Fox on the Select Standing Committee on Aboriginal Affairs.

Motion agreed to.

The Hon. D. Zirnhelt, on behalf of the Hon. M. Harcourt (Premier) tabled the British Columbia Trade Development Corporation Annual Report, 1991/1992.

The Hon. G. Clark (Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations) tabled the following:

British Columbia Ferry Corporation Annual Report, 1991-1992.

British Columbia Educational Institutions Capital Financing Authority Financial Statements as at March 31, 1992.

British Columbia Housing and Employment Development Financing Authority Financial Statements as at March 31, 1992.

48. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $365,941 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health and Ministry Responsible for Seniors, Minister's Office, to 31st March 1993.

49. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $3,994,714,303 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health and Ministry Responsible for Seniors, Ministry Operations, to 31st March 1993.

50. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $1,836,282,756 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health and Ministry Responsible for Seniors, Medical Services Commission and Pharmacare, to 31st March 1993.

5. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $3,633,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ombudsman, Ombudsman, to 31st March 1993.

4. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $206,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Conflict of Interest Commissioner, Conflict of Interest Commissioner, to 31st March 1993.

3. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $4,000,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Commission on Resources and Environment, Commission on Resources and Environment, to 31st March 1993.

2. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $6,684,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Auditor General, Auditor General, to 31st March 1993.

1. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $23,415,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Legislation, Legislation, to 31st March 1993.

The Committee reported the Resolutions.

The Hon. G. Clark moved--
That the reports of Resolutions from the Committees of Supply on April 21, 22, 23, 28; May 5, 12, 25, 26; June 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 17, 25, and 30, be now received, taken as read and agreed to.

Motion agreed to.

The Hon. G. Clark moved--
That towards making good the supply granted to Her Majesty for the public service of the Province, there be granted from and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of $17 billion, 696 million, 575 thousand, 153 towards defraying the charges and expenses of the public service of the Province for the fiscal year ending March 31, 1993, the sum to include that authorized to be paid under section 1 of the Supply Act (No. 1), 1992.

Motion agreed to.

The Hon. G. Clark (Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations) presented to the Speaker a Message from His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:

The Lieutenant Governor transmits herewith Bill (No. 80) intituled Supply Act, 1992-93 and recommends the same to the Legislative Assembly.

His Honour the Lieutenant Governor having entered the House, and being seated in the Chair -- Ian D. Izard, Law Clerk and Clerk Assistant, read the titles to the following Bills.

His Honour was pleased in Her Majesty's name to give assent to the said Bills.

The said assent was announced by Ian M. Horne, Q.C., Clerk of the Legislative Assembly

"In Her Majesty's name, His Honour the Lieutenant Governor doth assent to these Bills."

Ian D. Izard, Law Clerk and Clerk Assistant, read the title to the following Bill:

Bill (No. 80) Supply Act, 1992-93.

His Honour was pleased in Her Majesty's name to give assent to the said Bill.

The said assent was announced by Ian M. Horne, Q.C., Clerk of the Legislative Assembly

"In Her Majesty's name, His Honour the Lieutenant Governor doth thank Her Majesty's loyal subjects, accepts their benevolence, and doth assent to this Bill."

His Honour the Lieutenant Governor was then pleased to retire.
