Prayers by the Speaker.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion "Be it resolved that this House debate the merits of the Canadian Unity Agreement reached in Charlottetown on August 28, 1992."

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Symons, the debate was adjourned until the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 11.59 a.m.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

The Hon. J. Sawicki (Speaker) tabled the Report of the Chief Electoral Officer relating to the 35th Provincial General Election, October 17, 1991, pursuant to subsection 5 (9) of the Election Act, R.S.B.C. 1979, Chapter 103.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion "Be it resolved that this House debate the merits of the Canadian Unity Agreement reached in Charlottetown on August 28, 1992."

The debate continued.

The House continued to sit after 6 o'clock p.m.

By leave, the Hon. D. Zirnhelt (Minister of Economic Development, Small Business and Trade) made a ministerial statement relating to Small Business Week.

Ms. Stephens made a statement.

Mr. Neufeld made a statement.

The debate continued.

On the motion of the Hon. R. Blencoe, the debate was adjourned until the next sitting of the House.

On the motion of the Hon. R. Blencoe, Resolved, that the House, at its rising, stand adjourned until 2 o'clock p.m. Tuesday next.

And then the House adjourned at 8.48 p.m.
