In consideration of a proposed amendment on the Orders of the Day to Section 55 (1) of Bill (No. 84) the Committee divided.

Mr. Farrell-Collins moved a proposed amendment to Section 68 of Bill (No. 84) as follows:

SECTION 68, be amended by the addition of subsection (2) as follows:

(2) The application of this section shall not have the effect of preventing an employer from taking the necessary measures to avoid the destruction or serious deterioration of its perishable and other property.
