Prayers by Hon. J. Cashore.

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

Upon the Member for Fort Langley-Aldergrove disregarding a direction of the Chair to withdraw an unparliamentary expression, the Chair ordered him to withdraw from the House for the balance of the day's sitting.

The Hon. J. MacPhail (Minister of Social Services) tabled the Interim Report and Recommendations of Justice Thomas J. Gove, Commissioner, respecting Amendments to Child Protection Legislation.

The Hon. E. Barnes (Speaker) tabled the report and accompanying documentation of the Commission of Conflict of Interest regarding the matter of applications by the Member for Peace River South and Mr. Kim Emerson, respecting alleged contravention of provisions of the Members' Conflict of Interest Act by the Honourable Premier.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Tourism).

The House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 7) intituled Columbia Basin Trust Act.

The debate continued.

Bill (No. 7) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for commital at the next sitting after today.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 10) intituled Mountain Resort Associations Act, a debate arose.

Bill (No. 10) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for commital at the next sitting after today.

The Hon. G. Clark advised that the House will sit Wednesday, pursuant to Standing Order 2 (2).

And then the House adjourned at 5.52 p.m.
