On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 11) intituled Growth Strategies Statutes Amendment Act, 1995, a debate arose.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Kasper, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

Section A of Committee of Supply reported progress.

Report to be considered at the next sitting.

Committee to sit again at the next sitting.

And then the House adjourned at 11.52 a.m.

The Hon. M. Sihota (Minister of Environment, Lands and Parks and Minister Responsible for Multiculturalism and Human Rights) presented to the Speaker a Message from His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:

The Lieutenant Governor transmits herewith Bill (No. 9) intituled Water Protection Act and recommends the same to the Legislative Assembly.

Mr. Neufeld presented a petition.

Mr. Anderson presented a petition.

Mr. de Jong presented a petition regarding recent changes with respect to the Adoption Act.
