On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 5) intituled Securities Amendment Act, 1995, a debate arose.

Bill (No. 5) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for commital at the next sitting after today.

Bill (No. 10) intituled Mountain Resort Associations Act was committed and reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

Bill (No. 12) intituled Arts Council Act was committed.

The Committee rose, reported progress and asked leave to sit again.

Bill to be considered at the next sitting.

The Hon. M. Sihota (Minister of Environment, Lands and Parks and Minister Responsible for Multiculturalism and Human Rights) tabled the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks Annual Report, 1992 - 1993.

Mr. Farrell-Collins moved a proposed amendment to section 4 of Bill (No. 12) which was defeated, on division.

Bill (No. 14) intituled Tourism Act was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

Bill (No. 2) intituled Budget Measures Implementation Act, 1995, was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 15) intituled Real Estate Amendment Act, 1995, a debate arose.

22. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $410,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Education, Minister's Office, to 31st March 1996.

23. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $3,989,494,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Education, Ministry Operations, to 31st March 1996.

Section A of Committee of Supply reported the Resolutions and completion of the Estimates of the Ministry of Education.

By agreement, summary debate of Estimates passed in Section A (Ministry of Education) to be considered at the next sitting.
