Ten o'clock a.m.

The Law Clerk of the House informed the House of the unavoidable absence of the Speaker, whereupon Mr. Lovick, Deputy Speaker, took the Chair, pursuant to Standing Order 12.

Prayers by Mr. Neufeld.

Mr. Lovick (Deputy Speaker) tabled a report from the Ombudsman entitled Public Report No. 35 -- Fair Schools.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order called for "Private Members' Statements."

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section B of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Social Services).

Section B of Committee of Supply reported progress.

Report to be considered at the next sitting.

Committee to sit again at the next sitting.

And then the House adjourned at 12.16 p.m.

NOTICE OF MOTIONS

88  Mr. Streifel to move--
Be it resolved that this House support access for all women to the resources and facilities necessary to exercise their right of choice in matters of their own reproductive health, including publicly-funded abortion services.
