Prayers by Ms. Reid.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order called for "Private Members' Statements."

By leave, Mr. Kasper requested that a letter of support be forwarded to the Aid for Cuba Campaign Caravan.

The Speaker stated that, with the approval of the House, he would be pleased to comply with the request.

By leave, on the motion of the Hon. G. Clark, seconded by Mr. Warnke, it was Ordered--
That Robert Vaive be, and is hereby appointed, Clerk Assistant of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.

And then the House adjourned at 11.10 a.m.
