Prayers by Mr. Barisoff.

The Hon. G. Clark (Premier) made a ministerial statement regarding British Columbia's 125th anniversary of joining the Confederation of Canada and read a message from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Mr. Farrell-Collins made a statement and requested that the Speaker convey a message to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II thanking her for her good wishes.

The Speaker stated that, with the approval of the House, he would be pleased to implement the request.

The Hon. A. Petter (Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations and Minister Responsible for Intergovernmental Relations) tabled the following:

Nineteenth Annual Report of the business done in pursuance of the Public Service Benefit Plan Act for the year ended March 31, 1995;

The Annual Report of the business done in pursuance of the Legislative Assembly Allowances and Pension Act, Part 2, year ended March 31, 1995; and

Statement of 1995/96 Borrowings Pursuant to Section 41.5 of the Financial Administration Act, Schedule A, Schedule B and Schedule C.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order called for "Private Member's Statements."

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply (estimates of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food).
