Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $102,247,933 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations and Ministry Responsible for Intergovernmental Relations: Ministry Operations (Per Estimates), $96,141,831; Additions to Vote 30, Intergovernmental Relations Secretariat, $1,537,361; Provincial Capital Commission Grant, Transferred from Ministry of Health -- Vote 40, $224,500; British Columbia Racing Commission, $10; British Columbia Gaming Commission, Transferred from Ministry of Labour -- Vote 43, $4,344,231; to 31st March 1997.

31. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $8,297,129 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations and Ministry Responsible for Intergovernmental Relations, Registries, to 31st March 1997.

32. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $10 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations and Ministry Responsible for Intergovernmental Relations, Pensions Administration, to 31st March 1997.

33. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $10 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations and Ministry Responsible for Intergovernmental Relations, British Columbia Utilities Commission, to 31st March 1997.

34. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $10 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations and Ministry Responsible for Intergovernmental Relations, Product Sales and Services, to 31st March 1997.

59. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $143,149,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Other Appropriations, BC Benefits, to 31st March 1997.

60. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $12,890,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Other Appropriations, Corporate Accounting System, to 31st March 1997.

65. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $2,107,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Other Appropriations, Public Sector Employers' Council, to 31st March 1997.

66. Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $12,450,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Other Appropriations, Public Service Employee Relations Commission, to 31st March 1997.

Upon the Member for Vancouver-Little Mountain disregarding a direction of the Chair to withdraw an unparliamentary expression, the Chair ordered him to withdraw from the Committee for the balance of the day's sitting.

NOTICE OF MOTION

Thursday, August 1

40 The Hon. J. MacPhail to move --

That, under section 69 of the Constitution Act and sections 3 and 4 of the Statute Revision Act, the Select Standing Committee of this House on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders and Private Bills is designated under section 3 of the Statute Revision Act as the committee to examine the Revision prepared under that Act, and the committee is authorized

(1) to sit and carry out its statutory duties
(a) during a period when the Legislative Assembly is not in session, or
(b) during the period after prorogation until the next following session,

(2) to advise the Lieutenant Governor under section 4 of the Statute Revision Act of the committee's approval of the Revision and its recommendation that the Revision be brought into force, and

(3) following the adjournment, or at the next following session, to report or make any recommendations to the Legislative Assembly that the committee considers proper from time to time on the matters referred to the committee.
