and shall report to the House as soon as possible, or following any adjournment, or at the next following Session, as the case may be; to deposit the original of its reports with the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly during a period of adjournment and, upon resumption of the sittings of the House, the Chair shall present all reports to the Legislative Assembly.
The said Special Committee is to be composed of Ms. Gillespie (Convener), Messrs. Kasper, Hartley and Ms. Kwan, Ms. McKinnon and Mr. Coell and Mr. Neufeld.
Mr. Penner to move --
Be it further resolved that the Legislature of British Columbia urge the Government of Canada to amend the Identification of Criminals Act to require persons convicted of serious violent or sexual offences to provide suitable DNA samples, to be stored in a nation-wide computer data bank.

That a Special Committee be appointed to monitor and evaluate the progress of the work of the Transition Commissioner in respect of recommendations arising out of the Gove Inquiry into Child Protection, and that the Special Committee so appointed shall have the powers of a Select Standing Committee and is also empowered:
Be it resolved that the Legislature of British Columbia urge the Government of Canada to establish a nation-wide computer bank of known DNA samples to permit police to compare these samples with unidentified DNA samples recovered from crime scenes; and
That a Select Standing Committee on Legislative Initiatives be appointed for the 36th Parliament, pursuant to Section 9 of the Recall and Initiative Act (SBC 1994) Chapter 56, the said Committee to be composed of:
