The Hon. A. Petter (Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations and Minister Responsible for Multiculturalism) tabled the following:

The Annual Report of the business done in pursuance of the Pension (Teachers) Act, year ended December 31, 1995;

The Annual Report of the business done in pursuance of the Pension (Municipal) Act, year ended December 31, 1995;

The Annual Report of the business done in pursuance of the Pension (Public Service) Act, year ended March 31, 1996;

The Annual Report of the business done in pursuance of the Legislative Assembly Allowances and Pension Act, Part 2, year ended March 31, 1996;

Statement of Crown Proceeding Payments, for Fiscal Year Ended March 31, 1996;

Twentieth Annual Report of the business done in pursuance of the Public Service Benefit Plan Act, for the year ended March 31, 1996;

Public Accounts of the Province of British Columbia for the fiscal year ended March 31, 1996.

By leave, the Hon. A. Petter (Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations and Minister Responsible for Multiculturalism) moved --

That the Public Accounts for the fiscal year ended March 31, 1996 be referred to the Select Standing Committee on Public Accounts.

By leave, on the motion of the Hon. J. MacPhail, it was Ordered that leave be given for the Committee of Selection to meet while the House is in session today.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order called for "Private Members' Statements."

And then the House adjourned at 11.05 a.m.
