Mr. Thorpe advised the Chair of his intention to raise a matter of privilege with respect to the Deputy Speaker.

The Hon. J. MacPhail (Minister of Health and Minister Responsible for Seniors) presented to the Speaker a Message from His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:

The Lieutenant Governor transmits herewith Bill (No. 15) intituled Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Amendment Act, 1997 and recommends the same to the Legislative Assembly.

Bill Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order called for Private Members' Statements.

And then the House adjourned at 11.11 a.m.
