MR. ABBOTT
HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:
1 Section 49.1 of the Hospital District Act, RSBC 1996, c. 202 is repealed.
This Bill is to repeal the provision in Section 49.1 of the Hospital District Act which empopwers the Minister of Health to dismiss a regional hospital district board and replace it with an appointed administrator.
Section 49.1 was added to the Hospital District Act by Bill 42, Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act (No. 2) 19997.
