Your Select Standing Committee on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders and Private Bills begs leave to report as follows:
1. That the Revision of the Vancouver Foundation Act prepared pursuant to the Statute Revision Act is approved and the Committee recommends that it be brought into force.
2. That the Revision of the Victoria Foundation Act prepared pursuant to the Statute Revision Act is approved and the Committee recommends that it be brought into force.
3. That the preamble to Bill (No. Pr 401) intituled Mission Foundation Amendment Act, 2000, has been proved, and the Committee recommends that the Bill proceed to Second Reading, as amended, notwithstanding late filing.
4. That the preamble to Bill (No. Pr 403) intituled Westmount Career Management Ltd. (Corporate Restoration) Act, 2000, has been proved, and the Committee recommends that the Bill proceed to Second Reading, notwithstanding late filing. In addition, the Committee recommends that an amendment be considered in Committee of the Whole to ensure that any property that [may have] escheated to the government as a result of the Company being struck from the Register, is deemed to never have escheated to the government.
All of which is respectfully submitted.
