By leave, the Hon. G. Robertson (Minister of Energy and Mines) tabled the Aggregate Advisory Panel Report, March 2001.

The Hon. T. Stevenson (Minister of Employment and Investment) tabled the following:

Job Protection Commission Annual Report, 1999; and

Ministry of Employment and Investment Annual Report, 1999-2000.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

The House resolved itself into Committee of Supply (Supplementary Estimates (No. 3) of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology and Ministry of Finance and Corporate Relations).

(IN COMMITTEE)

24 (S3). Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $83,000,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Education, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 2001.

11 (S3). Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $228,000,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Advanced Education, Training and Technology, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 2001.

57 (S3). Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $9,700,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Other Appropriations, Seismic Mitigation, to 31st March, 2001.

58 (S3). Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $78,000,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Other Appropriations, BC Energy Rebate, to 31st March, 2001.


Committee of Supply reported the Resolutions.

The Hon. P. Ramsey moved --

That the report of resolutions from the Committee of Supply on March 27, 2001, be now received, taken as read and agreed to.

Motion agreed to.

The Hon. P. Ramsey moved --

That there be granted from and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of $398,700,000. This sum is in addition to that authorized to be paid under section 1 of the Supply Act, 2000-2001, section 1 of the Supply Act, 2000-2001 (Supplementary) and section 1 of the Supply Act 2000-2001 (Supplementary No. 2) and is granted by Her Majesty towards defraying the charges and expenses of the public service of the province for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2001.

Motion agreed to.

The Hon. P. Ramsey (Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations and Minister Responsible for Northern Development) presented to the Speaker a Message from His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:
