The Hon. G. Bowbrick (Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Human Rights) presented to the Speaker a Message from His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:

The Lieutenant Governor transmits herewith Bill (No. 18) intituled Genetically Engineered Food Labelling Act and recommends the same to the Legislative Assembly.

The Hon. G. Robertson (Minister of Energy and Mines) tabled the Oil and Gas Commission Annual Report, 1999/2000.

The Hon. C. Evans (Minister of Health and Minister Responsible for Seniors) tabled the following documents:

Development of a Health Campus Business Case, Nelson and Area Health Council Health Services Group and the RPG Partnership;

Omineca Multilevel Care Facility Capital Project Business Case; and

Fraser Valley Health Centre and Eastern Fraser Valley Cancer Centre Project Definition Report and Business Case.

The Hon. H. Giesbrecht (Minister of Transportation and Highways) presented a petition concerning the definition of marriage.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

The House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion for second reading of Bill (No. M 202) intituled Medical Practitioners Amendment Act, 2001.
