The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

 98  By leave, Ms. MacPhail moved--
Be it resolved that this House does not concur in the report of the Committee of Supply with respect to Vote 10 and the proceedings therein are declared of no force and effect and Orders the said Vote be referred back to the Committee of Supply to be reconsidered.

A debate arose.

The Hon. G. Collins moved that the debate be adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

Pursuant to the Sessional Order of February 11, 2003, division on the motion to adjourn the debate was deferred until 30 minutes prior to the ordinary time fixed for adjournment.

And then the House adjourned at 11.59 a.m.

The House resolved itself into Committee of Supply (Supplementary Estimates of the Ministry of Health Services).

The Committee recessed until 2.55 p.m.

29 (S). Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $319,400,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Health Services, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 2004.


Section B of Committee of Supply reported the Resolution under the Supplementary Estimates of the Ministry of Health Services and progress of the main estimates of the Ministry of Health Services.

Report to be considered at the next sitting.

Committee to sit again at the next sitting.

The Hon. C. Hansen (Minister of Health Services) tabled the Ministry of Health Services 2003/04-2005/06 Service Plan as required by section 52 of the Budget Measures Implementation Act, 2003.

The Hon. S. Hawkins (Minister of Health Planning) tabled the Ministry of Health Planning 2003/04-2005/06 Service Plan as required by section 52 of the Budget Measures Implementation Act, 2003.

The House recessed until 6.40 p.m.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 39) intituled Transmission Corporation Act, a debate arose.

The debate continued.
