On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 62) intituled Attorney General Statutes Amendment Act, 2004, a debate arose.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 64) intituled Justice Modernization Statutes Amendment Act, 2004, a debate arose.

Bill (No. 64) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

Bill (No. 45) intituled Community Living Authority Act was again committed.

Ms. Kwan moved a proposed amendment to section 5 (3) as amended, which was defeated, on division.

Ms. Kwan moved an amendment to section 12 (2) which was defeated, on division.

Ms. Kwan moved an amendment to section 18 which was defeated, on division.

Bill (No. 45) was reported complete with amendment, and by leave, read a third time and passed.

And then the House adjourned at 5.22 p.m.

 116  Mr. Penner to move--
Be it resolved that this House supports initiatives to encourage development of small hydroelectric and other renewable energy projects, as part of a plan to help make British Columbia self-sufficient again in the production of electricity.
