The Hon. C. Richmond (Speaker) tabled the following documents:

Ombudsman Special Report No. 26: Report on the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia's Minimal/No Damage-Low Velocity Impact Program;

Auditor General 2004/2005 Report 11: Follow-up of a Review of Government Oversight of Multi-Employer Public Sector Pension Plans in British Columbia; and

Auditor General Service Plan, 2005/06-2007/08.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

The Hon. C. Hansen (Minister of Finance) presented to the Speaker a Message from Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:

The House resolved itself into Committee of Supply (Supplementary Estimates of the Ministry of Energy and Mines).

20 (S). Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $25,000,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Ministry of Energy and Mines, Ministry Operations, to 31st March, 2005.


The Committee reported the Resolution under the Supplementary Estimates of the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

Report to be considered forthwith.

That the report of resolution from the Committee of Supply on February 22, 2005, be now received, taken as read and agreed to.

Motion agreed to.

The Hon. C. Hansen moved--
That there be granted from and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of $25,000,000. This sum is in addition to that authorized to be paid under section 1 of the Supply Act, 2004-2005 and is granted to Her Majesty towards defraying the charges and expenses of the public service of the province for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2005.

Motion agreed to.

That there be granted from and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of $545,000. This sum is in addition to that authorized to be paid under section 2 of the Supply Act, 2004-2005 and is granted to Her Majesty towards defraying the capital expenditure requirements of the province for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2005.

Motion agreed to.

5 (S). Resolved, That a sum not exceeding $115,000 be granted to Her Majesty to defray the expenses of Officers of the Legislature, Information and Privacy Commissioner, to 31st March, 2005.

This sum is in addition to that authorized to be paid under section 1 of the Supply Act, 2004-2005 and is granted to Her Majesty towards defraying the charges and expenses of the public service of the province for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2005.

Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor having entered the House, and being seated in the Chair --

Kate Ryan-Lloyd, Committee Clerk and Clerk Assistant, read the titles to the following Acts:

Bill (No. 3) Miscellaneous Statutes Amendment Act, 2005.
Bill (No. 4) Attorney General Statutes Amendment Act, 2005.

Her Honour was pleased in Her Majesty's name to give assent to the said Acts.

The said assent was announced by Kate Ryan-Lloyd, Committee Clerk and Clerk Assistant, in the following words:

"In Her Majesty's name, Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor doth assent to these Acts."

Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor was then pleased to retire.
