The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Bill (No. 20) intituled Supply Act (No. 1), 2005 was again committed.

The Committee rose, reported progress and asked leave to sit again.

Bill to be considered later today.

Ms. Roddick presented a petition regarding re-routing the transmission overhead lines currently routed through Tsawwassen.

The Hon. C. Richmond (Speaker) tabled the Auditor General 2004/05 Report 12: Follow-up of 2000/2001 Report 4: Management Consulting Engagements in Government.

Bill (No. 20) intituled Supply Act (No. 1), 2005 was again committed.

The Committee rose, reported progress and asked leave to sit again.

Bill to be considered at the next sitting.

And then the House adjourned at 12 p.m.

Two o'clock p.m.

On the motion of Ms. Kwan, Bill (No. M 203) intituled The Genuine Progress Board Act, 2005 was introduced, read a first time, and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.

Order called for "Members' Statements."

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

The Hon. C. Richmond (Speaker) tabled the Legislative Assembly Management Committee Annual Report, 2004-2005.

The Hon. G. Bruce made a ministerial statement regarding retiring Members of the Legislative Assembly.

Ms. Kwan made a statement.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Bill (No. 20) intituled Supply Act (No. 1), 2005 was again committed.

Ms. MacPhail moved a proposed amendment to section 1 of Bill (No. 20), which was defeated, on division.

Sections 2 and 3 of Bill (No. 20) passed, on division.

Bill (No. 20) was reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed, on division.

Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor having entered the House, and being seated in the Chair --

Ian D. Izard, Q.C., Law Clerk and Clerk Assistant, read the titles to the following Acts:

Bill (No. 19) Ministerial Accountability Bases, 2004-2005, Amendment Act, 2005.

Bill (No. Pr 401) University of Victoria Foundation Act.

Bill (No. Pr 402) Pacific Bible College Amendment Act, 2005.

Bill (No. Pr 403) British Columbia Wharf Operators' Association (Corporate Restoration) Act, 2005.

Bill (No. Pr 404) Westco Insurance Company Act, 1966 Repeal Act, 2005.

Bill (No. Pr 405) The John Hussey Foundation (Corporate Restoration) Act, 2005.

Her Honour was pleased in Her Majesty's name to give assent to the said Acts.

The said assent was announced by Ian D. Izard, Q.C., Law Clerk and Clerk Assistant, in the following words:

"In Her Majesty's name, Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor doth assent to these Acts."

Ian D. Izard, Q.C., Law Clerk and Clerk Assistant, read the title to the following Act:

Bill (No. 20) Supply Act (No. 1), 2005.

Her Honour was pleased in Her Majesty's name to give assent to the said Act.

The said assent was announced by Ian D. Izard, Q.C., Law Clerk and Clerk Assistant, in the following words:

"In Her Majesty's name, Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor doth thank Her Majesty's loyal subjects, accepts their benevolence, and assents to this Act."

Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor was then pleased to retire.

The Hon. G. Bruce moved--

That the House, at its rising, do stand adjourned until it appears to the satisfaction of the Speaker, after consultation with the Government, that the public interest requires that the House shall meet, or until the Speaker may be advised by the Government that it is desired to prorogue the Sixth Session of the Thirty-seventh Parliament of the Province of British Columbia. The Speaker may give notice that he is so satisfied or has been so advised and thereupon the House shall meet at the time stated in such notice, and, as the case may be, may transact its business as if it has been duly adjourned to that time and date; and
That, in the event of the Speaker being unable to act owing to illness or other cause, the Deputy Speaker shall act in his stead for the purpose of this order.

Motion agreed to.

And then the House adjourned at 5.54 p.m.
