The Hon. B. Barisoff (Speaker) presented the Office of the Auditor General 2005/2006 Report 9: Leading the Way - Adopting Best Practices in Financial Reporting 2004/05.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order for Committee of Supply called.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply.

Bill (No. 6) intituled Ministerial Accountability Bases Act, 2005-2006 was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 11) intituled New Relationship Trust Act, a debate arose.

The debate continued.

The House recessed until 6.45 p.m.

The debate continued.

Bill (No. 11) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

Bill (No. 12) intituled Tobacco Sales (Preventing Youth Access to Tobacco) Amendment Act, 2006 was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

Section A of Committee of Supply reported progress of the estimates of the Ministry of Children and Family Development.

Report to be considered at the next sitting.

Be it resolved that this House urge the government to support a Mental Health Court and appropriate assessment and treatment for people with mental illnesses who become engaged with the criminal justice system, instead of unnecessarily criminalizing people with mental illnesses.
