The Hon. B. Barisoff (Speaker) tabled the Office of the Auditor General 2006/2007 Report 10: Follow-up of 2004/2005 Report 2: In Sickness and in Health: Healthy Workplaces for British Columbia's Health Care Workers.

The Hon. R. Thorpe (Minister of Small Business and Revenue) presented the Property Assessment Appeal Board Annual Report, 2005.

Mr. Macdonald tabled a petition regarding cuts to childcare.

Mr. Simons tabled a petition regarding cuts to childcare.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion "That the Speaker do now leave the Chair" for the House to go into Committee of Supply.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Austin, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 5.54 p.m.

NOTICE OF MOTIONS

Monday, February 26

41  Ms. Karagianis to move--
Be it resolved that this House urges Government to consult with First Nations communities to establish protection protocols for artifacts, middens, and sacred sites for all communities in British Columbia; and a program to assist in protection, conservation and stewardship of significant First Nations heritage sites.
 
42  Ms. Karagianis to move--
Be it resolved that this House urge the BC Government to petition the Federal Government of Canada to extend Employment Insurance Benefits to self-employed individuals.
