The Hon. B. Penner, on behalf of the Hon. G. Abbott (Minister of Health) tabled the Provincial Health Officer's Annual Report, 2003/2004 and 2004/2005.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order called for "Private Members' Statements."

 43  By leave, Mr. Sather moved --
Be it resolved that this House urge the BC Government to introduce the Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement between British Columbia and Alberta to this House for full debate before it comes into effect on April 1, 2007.

A debate arose.

Pursuant to Standing Order 25, division on the motion was deferred until 30 minutes prior to the ordinary time fixed for adjournment.

And then the House adjourned at 11.58 a.m.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 5) intituled Ministerial Accountability Bases Act, 2006-2007, a debate arose.

Bill (No. 5) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the Address in Reply to the Speech of Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor at the opening of the Session.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Mr. Rustad, the debate was adjourned until later today.

Pursuant to Standing Order 25, in consideration of Motion 43 regarding the Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement, the House divided.

Be it resolved that this House calls on the Government to improve substantially the system of road maintenance in British Columbia.
 
45  Mr. Wyse to move --
Be it resolved that this House demand the Minister of Health provide the necessary resources required to provide the level of ambulance service determined by the Ministry of Health for each ambulance station in British Columbia.
