The Hon. B. Barisoff (Speaker) tabled the Office of the Auditor General 2007 Report 11: Infection Control: Essential for a Healthy British Columbia: The Provincial Overview.

The Hon. S. Bond (Minister of Education and Deputy Premier and Minister Responsible for Early Learning and Literacy) presented to the Speaker a Message from Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor, which read as follows:

The Lieutenant Governor transmits herewith Bill (No. 20) intituled School (Student Achievement Enabling) Amendment Act, 2007 and recommends the same to the Legislative Assembly.

Be it resolved that this House calls on the Government to improve substantially the system of road maintenance in British Columbia.

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A of Committee of Supply.

Bill (No. 13) intituled Supply Act (No. 1), 2007 was committed, reported complete without amendment, read a third time and passed.

The House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 11) intituled Community Services Statutes Amendment Act, 2007.

The debate continued.

Bill (No. 11) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.

On the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 15) intituled Security Services Act, 2007, a debate arose.

The debate continued.

Bill (No. 15) read a second time and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for committal at the next sitting after today.
