The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Order called for "Private Members' Statements."

The Assistant Deputy Speaker made a statement with regard to the guidelines of Private Members' Statements, namely, that debate should not include personal attacks on individuals or groups of Members in the House.

34  By leave, Mr. Yap moved--
Be it resolved that this House recognizes the importance of creating a competitive tax climate in the province in order to create a vibrant and sustainable economy that benefits all British Columbians.

A debate arose.

On the motion of Mr. Hayer, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 12 noon.
