On the motion of Mr. Cantelon, Bill (No. Pr 401) intituled Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences Act was introduced, read a first time, and Ordered referred to the Select Standing Committee on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders and Private Bills.

Order called for "Members' Statements."

Order called for "Oral Questions by Members."

Mr. Farnworth rose on a point of order regarding statements made by the Premier during Oral Question Period.

The Hon. M. de Jong made representations.

The Speaker took the matter under advisement.

Ms. Kwan reserved her right to raise a matter of privilege.

Mr. Simons reserved his right to raise a matter of privilege.

Mr. Fraser presented a petition regarding antifreeze containing ethylene glycol.

The House proceeded to "Orders of the Day."

Pursuant to Sessional Order, order called for Section A and Section B of Committee of Supply.

NOTICE OF MOTIONS

Monday, April 30

 51  Mr. Hawes to move--
Be it resolved that this House strongly encourage the Federal Government to partner with the Province of British Columbia in emergency mitigation flood measures throughout the province and that the Federal Government be a full participant with the Province of British Columbia in developing and implementing a long-term strategy for flood prevention, which would include dike construction and management as well as gravel and silt removal processes where necessary.
