The Hon. M. de Jong advised the House of an agreement pursuant to Standing Order 81.1 (1) with respect to the completion of Bill (No. 48) intituled Finance Statutes (Deficit Authorization and Debt Elimination) Amendment Act, 2009, for debate through all remaining stages of the Bill by the end of the regular sitting time on Thursday, February 12, 2009.

The House proceeded to “Orders of the Day.”

The House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 48) intituled Finance Statutes (Deficit Authorization and Debt Elimination) Amendment Act, 2009.

The debate continued.

On the motion of the Hon. K. Krueger, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 11.55 a.m.
