Ms. McNeil presented the Select Standing Committee on Health Interim Report, 2011-12 for the Fourth Session of the Thirty-ninth Parliament.

The Report was taken as read and received.

By leave, Ms. McNeil moved that the Report be adopted.

A debate arose.

Motion agreed to.

The Hon. S. Bond (Minister of Justice) tabled the Final Report of the 2010 British Columbia Judges Compensation Commission, Report to the Attorney General of British Columbia and the Chief Judge of the Provincial Court of British Columbia, pursuant to section 5 (3) of the Judicial Compensation Act, September 20, 2010.

Mr. D. Routley reserved his right to raise a matter of privilege.

The House proceeded to “Orders of the Day.”

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion “That the Speaker do now leave the Chair” for the House to go into Committee of Supply.

The debate continued.

On the motion of Ms. Trevena, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

Be it resolved that this House agrees that children should be protected from exploitation in the workplace.

Be it resolved that this House recognizes the stigma of mental illness and the particular difficulties faced by young people with mental health problems; be it further resolved that the province should provide the best supports possible.
