On the motion of Mr. Horgan, Bill (No. M 203) intituled Standing Committee Reform Act, 2014 was introduced, read a first time, and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.

Order called for “Members’ Statements.”

Order called for “Oral Questions by Members.”

The Hon. L. Reid (Speaker) tabled the following documents:

Auditor General Summary Report: Winter 2014, February 2014; and,

Auditor General Report: University Board Governance Examinations, February 2014.

The Hon. A. Wilkinson (Minister of Technology, Innovation and Citizens’ Services) tabled the Administration of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act Annual Report, 2012/2013.

The House proceeded to “Orders of the Day.”

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion “That the Speaker do now leave the Chair” for the House to go into Committee of Supply.

On the motion of Mr. Simons, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 11.54 a.m.

The Speaker made a statement, on behalf of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, expressing condolences to the family of a gentleman who earlier today suffered a fatal heart attack while visiting the Legislative Precinct.

The House proceeded to “Orders of the Day.”

Pursuant to Order, the House resumed the adjourned debate on the motion “That the Speaker do now leave the Chair” for the House to go into Committee of Supply.

The debate continued

On the motion of Mr. Yap, the debate was adjourned to the next sitting of the House.

And then the House adjourned at 5.53 p.m.
