The House observed a minute of silence in recognition of the National Day of Mourning for Workers Killed and Injured on the Job.

The Hon. S. Bond (Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training and Minister Responsible for Labour) made a ministerial statement regarding the National Day of Mourning for Workers Killed and Injured on the Job.

Mr. Bains made a statement.

The Hon. T. Wat (Minister of International Trade and Minister Responsible for Asia Pacific Strategy and Multiculturalism) made a ministerial statement regarding Holocaust Memorial Day.

Mr. Ralston made a statement.

On the motion of Mr. Bains, Bill (No. M 210) intituled Workplace Accountability Act, 2014 was introduced, read a first time, and Ordered to be placed on the Orders of the Day for second reading at the next sitting after today.
