Be it resolved that this House call on the B.C. government to immediately withdraw from the National Energy Board’s review of the Kinder Morgan pipeline and tanker project, and establish a rigorous made-in-B.C. environmental assessment process so that British Columbians, municipalities, and First Nations can fully participate, and finally get the fulsome answers on oil spill response, emergency planning, financial implications, climate change and other areas that they deserve. Be it resolved that this House recognize the value of a balanced budget built on a diverse economy to support B.C. families and communities and to build a better, stronger province for future generations. (Mr. Lee adjourned the debate.)

Be it resolved that this House continue to work towards responsible and affordable long-term labour peace for the benefit of all British Columbians.
