Ms. Huntington moved the following amendment —
That the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 12) intituled Federal Port Development Act be amended by deleting all the words after “That” and substituting “the bill be not now read a second time, that the order for second reading be discharged, the bill withdrawn from the Order Paper and the subject matter referred to the Select Standing Committee on Parliamentary Reform, Ethical Conduct, Standing Orders and Private Bills.”
The amendment to the motion for second reading of Bill (No. 12) was negatived.

Bill (No. 4) intituled Chartered Professional Accountants Act was committed.
