The Report was taken as read and received.

Further to the motion adopted on February 24, 2015, that the date for the Special Committee on Local Elections Expense Limits to examine, inquire into and make recommendations to the Legislative Assembly regarding its Phase 2 work be amended to read by June 26, 2015.

That the reports of resolutions from the Committees of Supply on March 3, 9, 11, 12, 24, 25, 26; April 14, 21, 28; and May 4, 6, 12, 14, 26, 28 be now received, taken as read and agreed to.

The Hon. M. de Jong moved —

That there be granted to Her Majesty, from and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the sum of 36 billion, 749 million, 151 thousand dollars towards defraying the charges and expenses of the public service of the province for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016. This sum includes that authorized to be paid under section 1 of the Supply Act (No. 1), 2015.

Motion agreed to.

The Hon. M. de Jong moved —

That there be granted to Her Majesty, from and out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, the sum of 737 million, 906 thousand dollars towards defraying the disbursements for capital, loans, investments and other financing requirements of the province for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016. This sum includes that authorized to be paid under section 2 of the Supply Act (No. 1), 2015.

Motion agreed to.

Bill (No. 25) Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations Statutes Amendment Act, 2015.

Her Honour was pleased in Her Majesty’s name to give assent to the said Acts.

The said assent was announced by Kate Ryan-Lloyd, Deputy Clerk and Clerk of Committees, in the following words:

“In Her Majesty’s name, Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor doth assent to these Acts.”

Bill (No. 28) Supply Act, 2015-2016.

Her Honour was pleased in Her Majesty’s name to give assent to the said Act.

The said assent was announced by Kate Ryan-Lloyd, Deputy Clerk and Clerk of Committees, in the following words:

“In Her Majesty’s name, Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor doth thank Her Majesty’s loyal subjects, accepts their benevolence, and assents to this Act.”

Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor was then pleased to retire.

The Hon. M. de Jong moved —

That the House, at its rising, do stand adjourned until it appears to the satisfaction of the Speaker, after consultation with the Government, that the public interest requires that the House shall meet, or until the Speaker may be advised by the Government that it is desired to prorogue the Fourth Session of the Fortieth Parliament of the Province of British Columbia. The Speaker may give notice that she is so satisfied or has been so advised and thereupon the House shall meet at the time stated in such notice, and, as the case may be, may transact its business as if it has been duly adjourned to that time and date; and

That, in the event of the Speaker being unable to act owing to illness or other cause, the Deputy Speaker shall act in her stead for the purpose of this order.

19  Hon. B. Bennett to move —

Be it resolved that this House supports the construction of the Site C Clean Energy Project; because the Site C Clean Energy Project represents the most affordable way to generate 1,100 megawatts of clean and reliable power; and the Site C Clean Energy Project will create jobs for thousands of British Columbians; and the Site C Clean Energy Project has been the subject of a thorough environmental review process.

Be it resolved that this House support BC Hydro’s plans to continue to invest in its provincial infrastructure.
