NEW DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

Jenn McGinn was elected MLA for Vancouver – Fairview on October 29, 2008.

Jenn is the Opposition Critic for Community Living B.C.

In both her professional career and through volunteer service Jenn has worked to make a real difference in the lives of young people, women, seniors and families.

Prior to the by-election, Jenn had been an Account Manager with Vancity’s Community Business banking team.

She is a former Vice-President of Little Mountain Neighbourhood House and past Executive Director of the South Granville Seniors Centre. She was also the director of development for the Surrey Women’s Centre.

A resident of Vancouver since 1993, Jenn has been active in her community. She is past president of the Britannia Community Services Society and served as volunteer co-ordinator of the Vancouver Stonewall Festival. She is a member of the Co-operative Auto Network.
